Embassies in Venezuela sending security alerts to their citizens

The enomical crisis taking place in the country plus the goverments desition to demonetize the economy by maintaining the exchange control plus banning the higher-value banknote (VEF 100) has caused a massive wave of protests and riots with raiding into stores of all kinds and houses of some mayor Venezuelan cities. Since a few years ago, some countries such as the US, France, England, etc have send alerts to their citicens regarding the social insecurity on the streets. Yesterday the chinese embassy did the same by sending alerts to their citizens plus activating bilateral mechanism to request the Venezuelan government to ensure theirs citizens personal and economic safety. We strongly recommend all crew members to avoid taking shore leaves in Venezuela as foreing people carrying foreing currency are usually easy and the most wanted targets to criminals.
